This role offers you a unique opportunity to build your pharmaceutical skills, explore provided educational/professional development initiatives and make a difference in the lives of patients every day. **A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM - 3:30PM or 3:00PM - 11:30PM, with every fourth weekend and one major/minor holiday requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services. + Verify medication orders and/or dispenses medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. + Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner. + Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives. + Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards. + Directs staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers. + Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + PharmD or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy + Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire + Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Board Certification Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
