Clinical Pharmacist PRN
Job Summary The Clinical Pharmacist validates accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders, compounds medications and accurately provides prescribed medications according to professional standards, practices and specific indications or orders. Provides consultative services to internal and external system constituents regarding medications, interactions, and other drug related information. Follows defined medication related protocols, policies and procedures. Documents clinical activities and applicable outcomes. Achieves and maintains satisfactory working relationships with pharmacy leadership, pharmacy staff and other hospital departments, committees and administrators. Places a strong emphasis on patient care with the patient as the highest priority and central focus in all endeavors and undertakings of the individual and the department. #READ Qualifications Education Requirements Doctorate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Doctorate Degree Experience Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure Board eligible for Pennsylvania licensure may be accepted in lieu of actual license; PA Pharmacist License required within 4 months of hire date PA Pharmacist License Required Skills Analytical Skills Collaborative Skills Computer Skills to include use and navigation Customer Service Skills Detail Oriented Excellent Communications Skills Excellent Interpersonal Skills Good Reasoning Skills Multi Line Telephone Operational Skills Multitasking Problem Solving Skills Strong Team Player
