This will be a full-time, day shift (rotating weekends) position. This position is designed with a focus on abdominal organ transplant with split inpatient and outpatient responsibilities for kidney and liver transplant patients. Additionally, this solid organ transplant pharmacist will cover inpatient lung transplant/pulmonary medicine patients up to ~25% of the time, with additional potential for cross coverage in outpatient lung transplant.

Required Qualifications* A Doctor of Pharmacy degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. A certificate of completion from a specialty residency in solid organ transplant, fellowship, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is necessary. Experience in clinical pharmacy practice is necessary. Licensure as a Pharmacist by the State of Michigan is necessary. Possession of a state controlled substance license is necessary.Desired Qualifications*Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCTXP). Ability to perform a variety of manual dexterity movements, including keyboarding and IV preparation, actively participating in codes. Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
