Clinical Pharmacy Manager – Memorial Regional Medical Center
Job Summary:
The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for leading the daily and administrative functions of pharmacy services, programs, and personnel throughout BSMH. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager position provides direction and leadership to ensure the organization delivers great patient care and improved population health within an efficient cost structure while improving the work-life of staff. In addition, the Clinical Pharmacy Manager facilitates communication, coordination, and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning, and provision of high-quality, cost-effective care.
Essential Functions:
Manage and lead the provision of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered pharmacy patient care services and operations for areas of responsibilityEnsure safety in the medication use process for areas of responsibilityDevelop and/or maintain operational policies and procedures. 4. Maximize the efficiency of associated pharmacy programsEnsure compliance to regulatory and accreditation bodies for areas of responsibilityOther duties as assignedEducation:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. (required)Pharmacy Residency (preferred, not required)Licensure/Certification:
Pharmacist Licensure – State Board of Pharmacy (required)BPS Board Certification (preferred, not required)Experience:
3 years of hospital pharmacy experience (required)Skills & Abilities:
