The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for effectively enhancing the drug therapy outcomes of patients at the Medical Center. This is accomplished through continual assessment of the appropriateness, safety, efficacy and outcomes of pharmacotherapy medication through direct patient care, education to health system personnel and the provision of pharmacotherapy-related outcomes research and performance improvement initiatives. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is aligned with the target interdisciplinary program and also serves as a liaison, preceptor and educator directing patient focused care.

PharmD required
NYS Pharmacy licensure
Completion of a PGY1 Rx Residency required
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY2 residency in Oncology, preferred
3 years of work experience in the area of Oncology preferred.
Eligible for Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or similar certification
Eligible to be credentialed as an Allied Health Professional
