As the lead Social Worker, they provide clinical guidance, case management support to the social work team, assists with delegating caseloads (along with the Regional Clinical Administrator and CBHH Program Administrator), facilitates team and social work department meetings, guides discharge planning to ensure timely discharge to the clinically indicated level of care, directly manage discharges for patients who no longer meet criteria_ _for continued hospital stay, and deliver ongoing coverage for when the assigned social worker is out. As a peer to the facility’s other mental health professional, they work as a team to deliver individual and group therapy, and provide coverage for each other._ CBHH facilities are acute inpatient adult psychiatric treatment facilities of no more than 16 individuals designed to provide rapid assessment and stabilization of patients in need of acute psychiatric hospitalization. The length of stay is usually less than 30 days, during which treatment focuses on stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning involving community support resources, with the overall goal of preventing future episodes. Service delivery is provided collaboratively through an integrated treatment model. This incumbent in this position must also be flexible in terms of work hours as well as the ability to travel. **Minimum Qualifications** + Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work AND + Licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working in an inpatient mental health facility **Additional Requirements** To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
