Clinical Program Coordinator III (Senior Technician/Designer)
Job Description: Perform fabrications using analog and digital workflows of dental prostheses, including but not limited to removable, fixed, maxillofacial, and implant prostheses (complete and partial). Performs fabrications of dental base with wax rims, custom trays, setting teeth, wax-ups, mouth guards/Essex guards, denture repairs, flippers, duplicating dentures, and other emergency repairs. Teaches residents analog and digital workflows for the fabrication of prostheses. Counsels on technical problems; advises and assists with clinical and research projects. Maintains general laboratory efficiency and cleanliness of laboratory areas. Ensures that health and safety practices are maintained in accordance with University of Florida and College of Dentistry policies. Coordinates service support in conjunction with Maintenance: repair of equipment, requisitioning of supplies, materials, and minor construction. Maintains contact with outside laboratories, vendors, and technical representatives concerning assigned areas. Orients visitors to the laboratory. Maintains calibration of equipment, updating software, and making sure equipment is properly cleaned per manufacturer's recommendations. Expected Salary:$80,000-$100,000

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience (Strongly Preferred):
10 years of experience in the field of dental technology and digital design. 7 years of experience in a dental laboratory. Experience with Ivoclar/3 Shape Designing Technology/Software and/or experience with various computer-aided design software and different additive and subtractive technologies.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (Strongly Preferred):
Proficient in designing, milling, and 3D printing dental prostheses. Previous experience in utilizing digital technology for the design and fabrication using analog and digital workflows of dental prostheses, including but not limited to: removable, fixed, maxillofacial, and implant prostheses (complete and partial).Physical Qualifications:
