Clinical Psychologist Government Clinics

Inova Government Clinic is looking to add a Clinical Psychologist to our team. Work along side our team of Nurses, NP's Dr's and Pharmacist to assist our clients, review, as assessment tools to use appropriate interventions and recommendations. This is a full time position, office is staffed 24-7. 

Clinical Psychologist Job Responsibilities:
 

Facilitates effective treatment plans. Formulates comprehensive treatment plans to address psychological/behavioral issues and support the functional goals of the rehabilitation treatment team. Gives information and instruction to the treatment team pertinent to the psychological, behavior and pain management strategies for patients. Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to patients' diagnosis, age group and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans. Chooses appropriate tests/tools relevant to the reason for referral. Performs reassessments according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Adjusts the treatment plan regularly, appropriately and as patients' status change. Documents the results of the evaluation, clearly and completely, including all essential elements according to department policy. Documents evidence of patient and family/caregiver education. Assumes a leadership role in committees, department process and special projects while following clinical expertise and individual performance plans. Maintains department productivity standards and makes efficient use of nonbillable time.

Psychologist Neuropsych Job Responsibilities:

Additional Requirements:

Work schedule: 24/7, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm) Education: Three years of clinical  Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience Certification: Basic Life Support - Upon Start. Top Secret Security Clearance (ISSA/TS/SCI) required. If Team Member does not hold Top Secret Security Clearance (ISSA/TS/SCI) at the time of hire, the Team Member must obtain it within one year of the hire date.
