POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, this position will work closely with physicians and mid-level providers to focus on quality improvement outcomes for specified patient panels. Duties for this position include: coordinating annual wellness visits, data entry, chart review, and collecting historical information from patients. A strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task and function independently in a fast-moving work environment are essential functions of this job. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience 1 year clinical experience.
Required Registration/License/Certification BLS certification within 90 days of date of hire or transfer. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from National Center for Competency Training (NCCT), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT).

Preferred Experience 3 or more years clinic experience with knowledge of disease processes and familiarity with routine medications.
