FT Clinical Receptionist Opportunity

Come Join our Denver Mental Health & Counseling Team!

 

Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 10am-630pm, Fri 9am-12pm 

Pay Ranges: $22-$25/hr 

 

Duties include reception coverage, collecting co-payments, scheduling follow-up appointments for clients and conducting UA's.

 

**Previous experience with Substance Abuse or Mental/Behavioral Health population is a plus.

Pay Minimum USD $22.00/Hr. Pay Maximum USD $25.00/Hr. Responsibilities

The Clinic Receptionist is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of front-office activities within the clinic. This includes managing the telephone systems, scheduling patient appointments, obtainin and reading of urine drug screens and pregnancy tests as odered, and relaying messages to appropriate staff members. The role also supports the Clinical Director/Program Director by assisting with additional administrative tasks as assigned. In addition, the Clinic Receptionist is involved in verifying patient benefits, assisting with payment collections, and accurately posting payments, ensuring a seamless patient experience and contributing to the overall financial operations of the clinic.

 

Core Job Duties:

 

Greets visitors and clients while maintaining appropriate, professional boundaries and excellent customer service.Maintains the visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs. Ensures all visitors and given a “Visitor” badge and ensures visitors return “Visitor” badgeMaintains and orders office supplies for facility.Manages the scheduling, obtaining and reading of urine drug screens and urine pregnancy tests as ordered.Verify benefits and complete payment collections and work collaboratively with Clinical team.Support in the collection and handling of lab specimens following established standards and practices.Adhere to infection control safety guidelines.Maintaining equipment, instruments and stock supplies.Knows the whereabouts of staff on a continuous basis.Maintains a filing system for various company functions.Assists with projects from other departments, as necessary.Attends staff meetings, when necessary.Maintains confidentiality pertaining to clients and families.Adheres to all company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. In lieu of education, minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar role required.Minimum one (1) year in a healthcare office setting.CPR and Standard First Aid certification desired. Previous experience with Substance Abuse or Mental/Behavioral Health population is a plus but not required.
