The Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator for Morton Plant Rehab responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the RN Director of Nursing, assumes the overall responsibility to evaluate and provide education, intervention and support for Medicare, Prospective Payment System (PPS), and special contract reimbursement systems. Assisting administration to ensure all documentation in the center meets the Federal, State, and Certification guidelines.Working in conjunction with Clinical Operations in the oversight and education of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process assuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the MDS, RAP's, and interdisciplinary Care Plan. Working collaboratively with the patient, responsible parties, and other health care professionals to determine resident needs. Striving to achieve optimal, appropriate reimbursement.

Required LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) License – FloridaRequired BLS certification - Basic Life Support
Education:
Required Technical Program or Degree – Licensed Practical Nurse
Experience:
Required 1 year nursing and 1 year RAI/MDS (Resident Assessment Instrument/Minimum Data Set) OR 1 year nursing and 1 year utilization review
