Geriatric ServicesJob SummaryDirected by Dr Godfrey Pearlson the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center ONRC is a person clinical neuroscience research facility at the Institute of Living in Hartford CT Our mission is to conduct research into a wide variety of mental health conditions across people of all ages and to rapidly translate that research into new and effective treatmentsThe COgnition Brain Imaging Behavior Research and Allelic Variation Laboratory COBBRA Lab at ONRC also led by Dr Pearlson performs large scale multi domain quantitative research that examines major mental disorders addictive processes and normal aging Research techniques used in the COBBRA Lab include testing new medications and therapies utilizing virtual reality functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging MRI electroencephalography EEG cognitive testing and geneticsA Clinical Research Assistant is needed to work on one or more research projects in the COBBRA Lab The role includes responsibilities such as recruiting screening data collection and data entry The position reports to the Lab Manager This is an ideal position for individuals aspiring to a professional career in
