Clinical Research Coordinator- Norfolk, VA!
Sentara Health is hiring for a Clinical Research Coordinator in Norfolk, VA!

Status: Full time position (40 hours) with contract for 3 years.

Standard working hours: Dayshift, 8am to 5pm EST

Location: With remote work opportunity. Will travel to the communities or doctor's offices in Hampton Roads (Norfolk, VB, Newport News) for clinical studies approximately 75% of the time. Reports to Sentara Health Research Center at Centre Pointe in Norfolk, VA as needed.

Job responsibilities:

Manages and coordinates all aspects of conducting grant research within Sentara Healthcare, both clinically and administratively.

Utilizes in-depth knowledge of protocol requirements to ensure that studies are properly conducted in conformance with the protocol guidelines, departmental standards and good clinical practices as set forth by federal regulations.

Sound conduct of the clinical trial including recruitment, screening, enrollment and follow-up of eligible subjects according to protocol requirements.

Maintenance of accurate and complete documentation of related regulatory documents.

As the primary resource for the protocols, will act as liaison between the investigators, the institutional review board (IRB), and the sponsor.

Required qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 3 years Clinical Research or Clinical experience REQUIRED

5 years of clinical research or clinical experience as a certified clinical professional may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Specialty Certification Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), Association of Clinical Research Professionals Certified Professional (ACRP-CP) or Certification Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) REQUIRED within 3 years of employment

BLS REQUIRED within 90 days
