Clinical Research Nurse - Cardiology
Job Description​Saint Luke's is hiring for a Clinical Research Nurse. In this role you will support study procedures specific to cardiology. If you are interested in working in a growing department with cutting edge therapies, while continuing to work with patients in a Monday-Friday capacity, then this position is right for you!

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the conduct of research protocols in the hospital and clinic settings to ensure adherence to the protocol, institutional policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.  Screen and educate potential candidates about research protocols and obtains informed consent in accordance with institutional policy, IRB guidance, and applicable regulatory requirements.Participate in sponsor site visits and investigator meetings for assigned clinical trials which may involve occasional travel.Coordinate education for all involved personnel.Document patient interactions and completes study data entry.  Communicates to investigators on the results of procedures and tests.Record research activities in hospital tracking systems.Collect and prepares laboratory samples.Maintain investigational product accountability.Schedule participants follow up visits according to the study protocol.Schedule and supports sponsor-initiated monitor visits for periodic reviewing and querying of collected data in a timely fashion.Support study procedures in the Cardiac Cath lab. Multi campus coverage will be required.
