Clinical Research Nurse (Cardiovascular)
Shift Monday-Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm, but they have a 4/10 schedule they flex with when they can Qualifications MUST have Cardiology nursing experience Minimum 2 years of Cardiology nursing experience Associate degree in Nursing Active State of Florida Registered Nurse license BLS certification Demonstrated skills in clinical competencies including physical assessment, phlebotomy, IV insertion, and administration of investigational drugs Cardiology Research Nurse The Cardiology Research Nurse plans, coordinates, evaluates, and performs nursing care for research participants and collects data for assigned projects. The Cardiology Research Nurse follows study protocols, communicates with Principal Investigators (PI), Sub-Investigators (Sub-I), and research staff, and advocates for patients while adhering to FDA regulations and ICH/GCP guidelines. + Deliver safe, respectful care and maintain clinical competencies (e.g., physical assessment, phlebotomy, IV insertion) + Maintain a clean clinical space and perform set-up/turnover procedures + Participate in training programs to maintain licensure + Communicate effectively with healthcare team, patients, investigators, and sponsors + Review informed consent documents with study candidates, ensuring patient rights and safety + Manage multiple clinical trial protocols, documentation, records, and study medications + Promote PI oversight and report deviations or issues + Coordinate support staff and ensure adherence to research protocols + Serve as liaison between PIs, IRB, and Office of Sponsored Programs + Prepare and review documentation for study start-up, execution, modification, renewal, and termination + Stay current on regulatory requirements and HIPAA regulations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $93600.00/yr.
