Job Overview

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is currently recruiting candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Clinical Research Professional or Senior Clinical Research Professional.  Duties can span a broad range of activities or be primarily focused within one or more areas of the clinical research spectrum.

Essential Functions Plan and coordinate clinical research projects. Facilitates communication with participants, nurses, physicians, sponsors, and ancillary personnel to maintain project study flow. Coordinates, schedules, and conducts research visits according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), protocol, and all applicable policies and procedures.    Participates in the preparation and/or submission of study-related materials, such as case report forms, adverse event reports, regulatory documents, etc. Assists in  the generation of data for proposals, reports, and manuscripts.  May serve as a resource person or act as a consultant within area of clinical expertise. Perform related duties based on departmental need.  This job description can be changed at any time. Minimum Requirements

Clinical Research Professional

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree must be in a related field. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience
One (1) year of related experience.

Senior Clinical Research Professional

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree must be in a related field. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience
Three (3) years of related experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Experience in an academic or clinical setting in the area of clinical specialization.
