This position will facilitate and coordinate all aspects of clinical research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in conjunction with the Brigham and Women’s Hospital including programmatic and administrative operations. Provide overall day-to-day management and operational support for the major components of the clinical research enterprise at Dana-Farber, including the following; Multidisciplinary Cancer Research Program with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Investigator Training Initiatives, Relations with industry sponsors, Collaboration with Clinical Trials Office & Clinical Research Operations at Longwood, Chestnut Hill, and Regional Campuses.

ResponsibilitiesAdministers and assists in projects as directed by Director, Office of Clinical Research and VP, Clinical Research Management:
Facilitates collaborations with Clinical and research faculty and staff, both internal to DFCI and externalOversees project reporting and interpretation of dataIdentifies opportunities for quality improvementWorks to develop infrastructure improvement processes, and track systems for Project Management services performedSets timelines, evolves effective communication, and implements complex projects from start to finishAdminister Research Training Programs for Faculty:
Plan, facilitate, and recommend improvements for the Methods in Clinical Research CourseAssist in planning, facilitate, and recommend improvements for the Immuno-Oncology Investigator Training ProgramFacilitate and track DFCI Clinical Trials CertificationsMonitor compliance to Methods in Clinical Research Course through OnCore reportingFacilitate exemption requests to be reviewed by the Executive Committee for Clinical Research (ECCR)Envision, develop and coordinate a faculty-focused training course for Non-Core Site Principal Investigators at the Regional Campus in close collaboration with the Clinical Trials OfficeOther trainings as neededData Management
Establish metrics and generate data including:Annual disease center reportsStudy team and Research RN workload metricsClinical Research Open positions data
Provide staff support for weekly Office of Clinical Research meetings, Executive Committee for Clinical Research, Clinical Trials Advisory Board, Clinical Trials Leadership Meeting, Clinical Research Directors Meeting, and Multi-Center Trial Review Committee meetings.
