Providence is calling a Clinical Research Scientist. Remote – Most states eligible.

The Research Scientist at the Providence Research Network Hub works to design and lead research studies in support of the Hub's strategic initiatives, with a focus on high-quality health services research designed to test innovative care and payment models or technologies that transform the organization, delivery, and finance of care. Special emphasis will be placed on partnering across the larger Providence system to conduct scientific research in support of ongoing transformation or innovation efforts and ensuring those efforts are well supported by scholarly learning and scientific inference

Required qualifications:

Ph.D. in Sociology, Public Health, Health Services, Psychology, Epidemiology, or related field.    Or Master's Degree  in Sociology, Public Health, Health Services, Psychology, Epidemiology, or related field. Work experience may NOT be concurrent with degree, and must include: Or Seven years of experience in health services research or related industry. Or Six years of grant writing experience for health services research, including all applicable regulatory requirements that govern such research.
o Six years of experience developing and leading research projects. 3 years of experience in health services research or related industry. Work experience may be concurrent with PhD program.
2 years of Grant writing experience for health services research, including all applicable regulatory requirements that govern such research. Work experience may be concurrent with PhD program.
2 years of experience as an investigator developing and leading research projects. investigator developing and leading research projects. Work experience may be concurrent with PhD program.
Experience writing and publishing research articles in peer review journals.
