Clinical Research Specialist 1

Inova Research Center – Oncology team is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Specialist 1 to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday – Friday.

Clinical Research Specialist 1 Job Responsibilities:

Assists in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to the study sponsor and IRB, as required by the protocol and regulatory requirements.  Assist in the conduct and documentation of study visits and protocol-specific testing/interviews according to the study protocol. Assists the research team in completing case report forms accurately and according to the protocol.

Clinical Research Specialist 1 Additional Requirements:

Work schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday – Friday, Days).  Education: High School or GED. Experience: At least 1 year of experience conducting any or all the following activities would be preferred:  Collecting, processing, and/or shipping blood and other biological specimens in a research or healthcare setting.  Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a research or healthcare/hospital setting.  Collecting and entering research data in electronic data capture systems and verifying accuracy with source documentation.   Any prior clinical experience preferred.  Medical terminology and familiarity with Epic preferred.
