Job Description
This role will support the Cardiovascular research team and the Primary Care research team, specifically for a preventative cancer biomarker trial. The individual will assist with patient recruitment and scheduling, identifying patients, and screening for inclusion/exclusion criteria. Communication with patients via phone for scheduling purposes is required. Data entry tasks before and after appointments in EPIC, along with administrative support for the research team, are key components of this role. Additionally, the specialist will provide backup for the research team by performing blood draws and interacting with patients during their visits, as well as processing and shipping specimens.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the Cardiovascular and Primary Care research teams.Assist with patient recruitment and scheduling.Identify and screen patients for inclusion/exclusion criteria.Communicate with patients via phone for scheduling.Perform data entry before and after appointments in EPIC.Provide administrative support for the research team.Perform blood draws and additional patient interactions as needed.Process and ship specimens.Essential SkillsExperience in patient recruitment and data entry.Understanding of clinical trials and inclusion/exclusion criteria.Phlebotomy certification and ability to draw blood.Strong computer skills and EMR experience.Organizational skills to manage scheduling, processes, and tasks for multiple people.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree.EPIC experience.Experience in cardiovascular research.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
