Clinical Sales Specialist - Rare GI - Perm - New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine

Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Rare Disease GI/Liver - Clinical Sales Specialist. This is a permanent role.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will join a dynamic sales team to help establish and grow a Rare Disease Franchise in the US. This field-based role as a Rare Disease Clinical Science Specialist - Cholestatic Liver involves achieving regional performance targets in the Manchester, NH region (NH/VT/ME) and contributing to the overall sales team performance. Responsibilities include developing long-term accounts to generate initial product use and grow sales volume, while ensuring accurate and balanced presentations of products and services. The territory covers NH, VT, and ME, focusing on Manchester, Burlington, and Portland, ME.

Skills & Requirements:

BA/BS is required; MBA, MSc, Nursing and other advanced degrees are a plusRare Disease experience is required, ideally GI/Liver as wellMinimum 8 years life-sciences experience, including at least 5 in rare or specialty areas, and at least 3 years in specialty biopharma salesProven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative and qualitative targetsDemonstrated understanding of the payer and clinical landscape, especially in specialty & rare diseasesProven patient centricity demonstrated by empathy, understanding and commitment to support patientsSuperior presentation, organization, administration, and written communication skillsMarket, Disease and Product KnowledgeAbility to travel within the territory including overnights when necessary

The Clinical Sales Specialist - Rare GI's responsibilities will be:

Achieve or exceed objectives associated with assigned brands. These may include sales, share, and other quantitative and qualitative KPIs as determined in a periodic basisEffectively and professionally navigate through complex multi-stakeholder organizations including integrated networks, hospitals and healthcare communitiesManage the assigned geography and customer accounts in an efficient manner, following principles of key physician/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and resource utilizationDevelop and maintain appropriate professional relationships with customers, guided by the best interests of patients, and bound by Ipsen policies and proceduresEngage in in-depth conversations with physicians and other healthcare professionals entirely based on approved resources and messages and consistent with the approved label(s)Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to identify and resolve customer needs appropriately and with a high sense of urgencyReview and analyze market/customer data to support and execute strategic planning
