Clinical Scientist - Permanent - Massachusetts, US

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Operations Specialist to join a dynamic team focused on advancing clinical development in metabolic and immune-related diseases.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves providing scientific and operational support for early-phase clinical trials. The successful candidate will collaborate with multi-functional teams and experts to ensure the successful delivery of clinical studies.

Skills & Requirements:

Advanced degree in life sciences (Master's or PhD).Experience in clinical operations for early-phase trials.Strong background in scientific research and knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines.Familiarity with global clinical research regulatory and compliance requirements.Proficient in scientific writing, statistical analysis, and data presentation.Understanding of clinical development plans and project financial principles.Preferred experience in metabolic, cardiovascular, or immunological diseases.Ability to manage multi-center, cross-geography clinical operations.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The Clinical Scientist's responsibilities will be:

Support phase I and II studies in accordance with GCP and ICH guidelines.Collaborate with matrix teams to complete clinical studies on time, within budget, and with high quality.Conduct literature research, data analysis, medical writing, and strategic planning for drug development projects.Lead or coordinate the development of study documents such as protocols and informed consent forms.Coordinate with internal teams, CROs, investigators, and regulatory agents for study planning and execution.Manage clinical records and documents in internal systems.Maintain effective communication with internal and external collaborators.
