Clinical Service Representative I
Job Description:The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida is seeking a full-time Clinical Service Representative I who will serve as the department receptionist and switchboard operator.
The Clinical Service Representative I serves as the Department of Neurosurgery’s receptionist and operator. Duties include answering calls from patients, physicians, attorneys and other Health Center personnel and routing the calls appropriately. The receptionist is also responsible for greeting visitors to the department and routing them to their destinations.
Other responsibilities include handling requests for phone repairs and maintenance, receiving and distributing packages, serving as backup to obtain radiological films and clinical notes, maintaining the supply inventory and pick up and distribution of office and U.S. mail. Advertised Salary:$16.42-$17.91 hourly; commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of correct spelling and grammar. Ability to verify data for accuracy and completeness. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing.
