Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm Principal Investigators: Bei Wu, PhD and Mary Mittelman, DrPH Job Description NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing is seeking a bilingual clinical social worker or equivalent (English/Korean). The staff will be involved in a project, entitled “NYUCI-ES: Psychosocial Intervention to Improve Health Outcomes for Chinese and Korean Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia Caregivers,” aiming at developing a culturally tailored intervention based on the NYU Caregiver Intervention. The staff will support families and individuals to address the comprehensive needs of caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. This will be achieved through interviews, counseling, and effective communication. This role will report to Dr. Bei Wu. Job R esponsibilities 1. Help recruit Korean American dementia caregivers 2. Provide participants with three-time in-person interviews 3. Conduct 2 individual and 4 family counseling interventions as well as ad hoc counseling (counseling as needed) in-person, on the phone, or by teleconferencing 4. Serve as a facilitator on a Korean social media platform 5. Other duties assigned by PIs or program managers In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work, nursing, family counseling or clinical psychology; 2. Three or more years of experience working with adults, couples and families; 3. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Korean; 4. Strong work ethics and communication skills; 5. Ability to travel to participant home for data collection in New York City and Northern New Jersey Preferred requirements 1. 5 years of clinical experience; 2. Knowledge of dementia and community resources; 3. Experience or interest in participating in clinical research; 4. Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills; 5.
