Clinical Social Worker I/II/III
**Job Summary:** Clinician will provide counseling using applied psychotherapeutic techniques to individuals, families or groups wherein interpersonal relationships are examined for the purpose of achieving more adequate, satisfying, and productive individual and/or family adjustments. **Job Requirements** : **Minimum Education** : Masters Degree in clinical social work or marriage and family and child counseling, marital and family therapy, psychology, clinical or counseling psychology, or counseling with an emphasis in either marriage, family and child counseling or marriage and family therapy from an accredited school. **Certification/License** : Licensed (or licensed eligible) by the Board of Behavioral Science in California: Licensure requirement determined by specific job site **Minimum Experience** : Experience working with children and families with a culturally diverse population. Based on degree, licensure and years of experience, will be under a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist or Clinical Counselor job description upon hire. Experience in working with BIPOC children, youth and families populations. **Knowledge/Skills** : Normal and atypical child development Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting with a diverse group of professional and support staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving skills Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to crises Computer literate Ability to work independently, organize tasks, problem solve, make decisions, and handle multiple priorities; Interpersonal skills - Ability to interact well with co-workers and client families in varied settings. **Physical Requirements** : Sit: Up to 6 hours/day Stand/Walk: Up to 6 hours Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours Reach: Up to 6 hours Rep Use of UE: Up to 6 hours Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment This job requires the ability to hear alarms, clients and/or instruction.
