In the role you will aid the orthopaedics team in Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, Sports and CMF (Craniomaxillofacial) surgeries to effectively execute their strategies in Carins and Townville. This is a unique opening where you will work across multiple disciplines in numerous hospitals. No two days are the same in this fast paced, dynamic position. RESPONSIBILITIES + Assist in the promotion and safe and effective use of products through regular theatre attendance, customer education meetings, and training sessions. + Develop a rapport and strong relationships with internal stakeholders within the hospital environment. + Partner with the sales specialist to identify business opportunities across the portfolio in key focus accounts. + Provide educational in-service product presentations to hospital staff as required to develop your own learning as well as hospital independence. + Understand and retain technical information gathered through your training and apply it to the procedure and product platform. + Provide logistical support by managing seamless delivery of kits, following up with missing equipment, and assisting in the booking process. + Work collaboratively with colleagues to support and accomplish a business plan. + Maintain up to date market and industry knowledge + Timely completion of business reporting and administration as required **Qualifications** ABOUT YOU + A degree or qualification, preferably in a health-related area, engineering, or other technical field. + Ideally experience in a clinical or hospital environment; experience in orthopaedics is an advantage. + Aptitude for understanding and retaining information about technical devices and technology. + Must be comfortable working in a team environment, but also be extremely self-motivated when working alone. + The ability to communicate effectively, specifically technical information as it relates to the role. + A creative and innovative approach with good analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong work ethic with ‘can-do’ mindset – with the initiative to work autonomously. + Full driving license with a car to get to and from the hospitals.
