To complete our successful team, we are seeking a Clinical Specialist (m/w/d) for VELYS Robotics with place of residence in North Germany or North-West Germany or Berlin in full- or part-time (80%) Role Purpose The future of healthcare is digital surgery. Therefore, it is essential that our platform is supported by the expertise of an exceptional specialist. The Clinical Specialist (m/w/d) VELYS Robotics is responsible for acquiring and maintaining experienced knowledge on orthopaedic digital solutions and robotics within the VELYS Digital Surgery platform. He/she will provide training and clinical support to all end users within hospitals and provide on-site mentorship and assistance before, during and after surgical procedures during the installation phase, giving feedback on product design to improve performance and customer satisfaction. The Clinical Specialist (m/w/d) will be an integral team member of the newly found Robotic & Enabling Technologies business unit, representing a start-up inside the world’s largest healthcare partnership, and works closely with Business Unit Lead, Marketing, Sales, Clinical Specialist peers and Field Service Engineers to build a relevant impact in Digital Surgery in Germany. Your Tasks and Responsibilities + Serve as front-line orthopaedic specialist for robotics to surgeons and hospital staff before, during and after surgical procedures. + Train and guide orthopaedic surgeons, or staff and other relevant hospital teams in the use of VELYS Robotics platform solutions including set-up and shift from conventional to robotic assisted procedures as well as digital solution implementation and connectivity on site. + Provide first line troubleshooting during installation phase related to robotic assisted solution and partner closely with the Field Service team that ensures technical issues are resolved and maintenance is delivered. + Serve as clinical expert in commercialization activities for the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution including Commercial and Professional Education facilitation and being proficient in the use of VELYS robotic procedures. + Supports pipeline meetings, company road-show demonstrations, congresses and hospital visits to provide potential customers with the opportunity to see our solution in use and its clinical value. + On-boarding of new specialists and local Joints Reconstruction Sales Consultants to take-over the clinical support after the customer onboarding is completed, follow-up the account post-implementation. **Qualifications** Your Tasks and Responsibilities + Minimum proven experience of 5 years within Joint Reconstruction / Arthroplasty required + Experience and ease in hospital and OR setting as well as hospital stakeholder management required + Demonstrate competence in technical skills and technology systems + Quickly identify and solve problems on-the-go + Self-starter, ability to work independently without daily direction to increase results + Team Player, work closely with VELYS Digital Surgery partners, Field Service and Joints Recon colleagues to show unified approach in improving the customer experience Other Requirements + Proficient in both German and English is required + Excellent Communication and Presentation skills + Ability to think, plan and deliver on commitments + Digital mentality + Driving licence + Travel requirements up to 75% and willingness to travel within Germany For more than 130 years, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) has been a part of our cultural fabric at Johnson & Johnson and woven into how we do business every day.
