Learn more at https://www.jnj.com   THE OPPORTUNITY A unique opportunity has arisen for a dynamic clinical specialist to join a high-performing team specialising in hip and knee surgery in New Zealand. You will have a strong background in theatre nursing or experience as a field-based representative, with consideration given to those with expertise in physiotherapy, anatomy, or fitness instruction. This role offers an exciting challenge for a motivated individual ready to hit the ground running, as the position is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. RESPONSIBILITIES + Assist in the promotion and safe and effective use of ortho prostheses, digital solutions and medical technologies through regular theatre attendance, customer education meetings and training sessions. + Supporting progressive innovation such as robotic technologies, computer navigation, hospital and patient partnering apps, and technologies which improve patient outcomes and surgical efficiencies. + Provides first line of service to internal & external customers for technical troubleshooting and resolution. + Partner with Sales Specialists to identify business opportunities across the portfolio in key focus accounts. + Assist in the successful conversion of such opportunities. + Protect and grow the business as defined by the business strategy. + Travel across a regional territory that encompasses the Lower North Island from Wellington to New Plymouth **Qualifications** ABOUT YOU + A degree or qualification in a health-related area, engineering, or other technical field. Ideally experience in a clinical environment: + Experience in Orthopaedics is an advantage. + Aptitude for understanding technical devices and technology. + The ability to impart technical information, therefore good communication skills is a must. + A creative and innovative approach with good analytical and problem-solving skills. + Must be comfortable working in a team environment, but also be extremely self-motivated when working alone. + Strong work ethic with ‘can-do’ mindset. + Full & clean driving license.
