Clinical Staff Pharmacist- Per Diem

Provide clinical pharmacist services for Trios Health Southridge hospital. Utilize computerized resources to ensure safe and effective drug utilization. Collaborate with other clinicians, such as nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals on a daily basis.  Verify orders and writes orders based on established protocols. Provide consultation and patient education. Coordinate and closely review activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations in accordance with federal and state regulations and hospital policies and procedures. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

EDUCATION Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy required. Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served in Pharmacy Experience: Minimum of two (2) years recent hospital pharmacy experience required. Required License: Must have/obtain a current Washington State Pharmacist License or license eligible.  Other: Bilingual and/or English Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to work with culturally diverse population.

 Wage Scale:

Residency Completed base pay: $57.00-$94-68

No residency base pay: $52.71-87.65 

* Per diem rates may be higher than quoted base pay
