Clinical Sterile Services Technician

£22,500 per annum

37.5 hours per week

Nuffield Health is looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Sterile Services Technicians to join the Team in HSSU. These positions will be to assist in the preparation of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices, under controlled conditions, to meet customer requirements.

Shifts Available:

37.5 hours per week on a rotational shift patternShifts: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMEvery other Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, plus one day during the weekOvertime and Bank Holiday rates apply, along with shift enhancements

Position Overview:

Nuffield Health is recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated Sterile Services Technicians for the HSSU teamThe role involves assisting in the preparation of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices to meet customer requirements under controlled conditions
 

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and tidy working environmentInspect medical devices for cleanliness, functionality, and damageTake action to rectify problems and escalate issues when necessary
 

Key Duties:

Ensure process equipment and accessories are in full working orderReport any faults or anomalies
 

Skills and Requirements:

Strong organisational skills are required.Maintain accurate records and documentation, following statutory and organisational policies and procedures

What do you need?

A basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracyFull training will be providedGood communication skills, verbal and written, and basic computer literacyAttention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality serviceTo be able to handle manual handling duties up to 13kg
