Clinical Student Intern - Surg Program at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane WA

This is a temporary supplemental position up to 35-hours per week and offers a program bonus of $5,000.

Rate: $20/hr  - Anticipated start date: February 24, 2025 and/or March 10, 2025

The Surgical Technologist Residency Student is a student who has not yet completed an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES) but is able to perform tasks in the surgical setting under the delegation of authority of a licensed health care practitioner and a staff Surgical Technologist preceptor. Surgical Technologist Resident Students will function as a clinical student during their program clinical experience. This experience will be educational, and the student will not function independently. The primary duties are outlined in WAC 246-939-030.

Required Qualifications: 

Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire. 1 year - Currently enrolled in a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited surgical technology program and has completed program-specific lab skill checkoffs.

Starting the Washington Registration Process prior to being hired
