ResponsibilitiesWhat will You Be Doing?
Effective Communication: Engage with customers, employees, and others to answer inquiries, disseminate information, and address complaints.Staff Management: Assign caseloads, identify hiring needs, and assist in the recruitment and hiring process.Training and Development: Coordinate and conduct orientation and ongoing training sessions for staff. Collaborate with the Program Director to develop staff.Supervisory Duties: Provide clinical supervision to direct care staff, including maintaining documentation. Handle client crises and provide day-to-day clinical oversight.Meeting Facilitation: Conduct staff meetings to foster communication and collaboration.Financial and Strategic Planning: Assist in preparing the annual budget, review monthly financial statements, and participate in developing the annual strategic plan.Marketing and Growth: Collaborate on marketing efforts and regional development in alignment with the budget and strategic plan. Cultivate relationships with referral sources.Compliance: Ensure compliance with state regulations and COA standards. Manage client authorization requirements and ensure timely documentation.Direct Services: Provide direct services to families as needed.Quality Assurance: Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities, audits, and the development and implementation of improvement plans. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who meets the following criteria:
Strong Communication Skills: Engage effectively with customers, employees, and various stakeholders to answer inquiries, disseminate information, and address complaints.Leadership Abilities: Experience in assigning caseloads, identifying hiring needs, and managing staff effectively.Training and Development: Proficiency in coordinating and conducting orientation and training sessions for staff members.Collaborative Mindset: Capability to work closely with the Program Director to develop staff and ensure effective team collaboration.Supervisory Experience: Competence in providing one-on-one clinical supervision to direct care staff, handling client crises, and providing remote supervision.Meeting Facilitation: Ability to lead staff meetings and foster open communication and teamwork.Financial Acumen: Ability to assist with budget preparation, reviewing financial statements, and participating in strategic planning.Marketing and Relationship Building: Skills in collaborating on marketing efforts and developing positive working relationships with referral sources.Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of state regulations and COA (Council on Accreditation) standards to ensure compliance.Documentation Skills: Attention to detail in reviewing clinical documentation and managing client authorization requirements.Service Orientation: Passion for serving vulnerable individuals and families, with a willingness to provide direct services when needed.Quality Assurance: Commitment to participating in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities and implementing improvement plans.Flexibility: Ability to manage a flexible schedule to provide coverage for evening clients in the office, as necessary. Independent Work: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a team to achieve common goals.Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and a commitment to personal growth are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Master's degree in human services field qualifying you to provide mental health counseling services. Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and families.
