The Clinical Supervisor oversees authorization of and manages services delivered by internal clinical service providers. Supports the clinical development of community-based clinical program staff. Ensures ongoing referral sources and maintains working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Directly supervise assigned program staff, including providing regular case consultation and ongoing performance evaluation. Engage in reflective supervision, characterized by active listening and coaching to support your staff in meeting professional development goals and strengthening their independent decision-making skills. Manage the client intake and assignment process. Participate with curiosity and openness in structured leadership trainings and informal leadership cohort groups. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure continuity of services for clients served. Attend community outreach events to increase awareness of available services and the mental health needs of children.Candidate qualifications:
A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, or a closely related clinical field required. Current clinical licensure in the state of Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) required. At least two years’ relevant clinical experience; providing clinical services with mandated clients and/or children and families in a managed care or community based setting; preferably experience working with youth, parents, or families who have experienced trauma. Experience providing reflective supervision in a clinical setting preferred. Demonstrates knowledge of the impact of trauma on individuals and families required. Training and experience in utilizing evidence-based treatment to address the immediate and long-term impact of single episode and complex trauma required. Experience in public speaking/training preferred. Knowledge of family systems issues including domestic violence, child welfare, substance abuse and psychiatric care required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.Job details:
Compensation: Salary Range $67,000-$70,000; Offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional financial compensation. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs. Clinical licensure: Licensed therapists receive reimbursement of licensure renewal fees.
