Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and results-oriented Clinical Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. In this essential role, you will facilitate cross-disciplinary communication and drive change within the Supply Chain department across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and project management skills, along with prior experience in leading organizational change initiatives. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with two days in the office and three days remote, operating Monday through Friday during day shifts. This structure allows for a balanced work-life arrangement without any weekend, holiday, or on-call obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Clinical Supply Chain Manager in conducting clinical research, implementing processes, and analyzing data within the supply chain. Focus on commodities, low-impact physician preference items, system-wide conversions, and standardization efforts to maximize contracts and ensure compliance, aiming for optimal clinical value at the lowest possible cost. Organize data and information pertinent to specific projects as instructed, facilitating committee discussions or business cases. Assist in managing the MedApproved workflow process and ensure accurate documentation is maintained. Serve as a clinical resource to supply chain operations and oversee the documentation and coordination of the Nursing Clinical Executive Supply Committees and their subgroups. Communicate clinical recommendations and support implementations across entities and supply chain operations. Manage clinical reviews, documenting outcomes and recommendations concerning commodities, low-impact physician preference items, purchased services, and capital equipment. Collaborate with Contracting Portfolio Managers and Specialists to identify standardization and cost-reduction opportunities. Work closely with suppliers to assess new technology opportunities and validate necessary data for analytical review. Partner with Clinical Effectiveness Councils, as needed, to optimize value for IU Health. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall supply chain strategy.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a clinical field required. Nursing strongly preferred. 5 years of experience in a clinical area of healthcare is required, preferably in an acute care setting. Strong verbal, written and strategic/analytical skills are required. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software applications; statistical software applications experience preferred. Requires experience in project management, presentation development, analytics, and customer service. Must be proficient in the use of Supply Chain business systems and tools.
