Clinical Support Operations Manager
Overview

Provides technical and analytical support for Population Health and clinical support programs, including designing quantitative approaches, research, data collection, and tracking project tasks. Collaborates with department leadership in the development of new/revised workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Oversees and implements systems used to monitor and evaluate performance improvement initiatives, quality, and regulatory activities for Population Health and clinical support programs. Works under general supervision.


Responsibilities
Manages the performance improvement reporting activities for the department. Coordinates performance data collection with the Research, Information Technology, and other departments, to ensure reports effectively monitor and track Population Health and clinical support programs initiatives, including performance management activities. Interprets utilization dashboard data and creates analysis for program leads.  Designs Population Health and clinical support programs performance improvement framework for quality improvement initiatives, reports, and evaluations.Collaborates with Outcomes department to create/revise data collection and reporting tools designed to meet the needs of Population Health and clinical support programs.Creates processes and tools that foster effective and efficient use of operational programs. Designs tools and training guides for monitoring performance improvement and audits.  Assists department leadership in development and implementation of systems to ensure efficiency of operations, quality improvement and improved patient care.  Provides support to leadership to review, track, analyze and summarize reports for timely resolution of problems. Works with finance in the development of financial and statistical reports to ensure that internal and external financial and statistical reporting requirements are met in a timely manner. Writes specifications for program development to support auditing and data collection and reporting.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a related field, or the equivalent work experience required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.  

Experience:  Minimum of three years progressive operations experience in health care, managed care, or related field and a minimum of two years of experience in Information Systems or Systems Applications, required. Experience in Process Improvement within a HealthCare environment required. Prior experience with databases and data management required. Conversant in data interpretation and presentation required.  Proficient with personal computers, including Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Ability to perform statistical/quantitative analyses programs required.
