Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Support Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the clinical support services department. Provides supervision, security and physical condition of the residential living environment and support of ATS continuum clients. May be responsible for overnight supervision of the residential clients and as needed, assist in emergency situations that Detox staff may encounter. Coordinates residential clients’ community appointments and monitors client program services attendance and behavior. May be responsible to provide newly admitted residential clients with program orientation sessions. Coordinates client room assignments and assists clients with crisis management and related case management issues. Must have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the current Programs Policy and Procedures (especially Physical Facility & Safety Policy #3, Emergency Plans and Procedures and Policy #10, Safety). Assists with billing data for ATS as required by governmental contracts and assist staff with other third-party payers. Assists in the tracking and billing of clients under all WITS care coordination services.
Hight school education or GED. A valid Hawaii Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling (CSAC) preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a residential treatment setting. Two (2) years of work experience in a substance use disorder or behavioral health field. Must be able to be both supportive of and relate with substance use clients. Needs effective written and verbal communications skills. Must have word processing/computer experience. Upon hire, must submit a driving abstract that reflects a safe driving record.
