Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital seeks a Clinical Support Tech for their Wound Care Center department responsible for rooming patients, safe patient handling, vital signs, vascular diagnostic testing, procedural instrument management, room turnover and set up, and supply stocking management. Supports the patient experience by assisting with patient flow in order to reduce wait times. Responsibilities include:

Actively participates in room turnover by cleaning, replenishing supplies, and preparing for all necessary items for the next patient in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently. 

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Minimum: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.

Technical Requirements:

Minimum: Basic knowledge of medical terminology, strong computer skills (email, texting), and comfort with technology.

Years of Related Work Experience:

Minimum: Prior patient care experience. Preferred: 2 years in a patient care setting providing patient care.
