Clinical Team Leader - START

The START (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment) model serves people diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health conditions. This comprehensive model of service supports and optimizes independence, treatment, and community living for individuals with I/DD and behavioral health needs.Under the direction of the region’s START leadership, the START Clinical Team Leader will provide supervision and oversight of the START Coordinators. Provides coverage for START services and participates in 24/7 administrator on-call systems, as needed. Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Provide administrative supervision to START Coordinators and provide daily clinical triage supportMaintain linkages and relationships with community partnersEnsure the coordination of support meetings and crisis plans for persons served through STARTShare on-call responsibilities to ensure 24/7 response to crisis situations within one hour of call telephonically and within 24 hours of call in-personParticipate in recurring meetings with START leadership, clinical team, and resource centerDevelopment of cross-systems crisis plans, intake/assessments, intervention and outcomes and any other applicable documentation of services providedMaintain a small, active caseload (about 5) until START Coordinator certification is achieved. Following certification, team leader caseload should be fluid and temporary to provide opportunity to support START Coordinators when neededMinimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.) Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or human service field with a Minimum of 2 years' experience providing services to with people who have IDD and mental health needsAt least one year of supervisory experienceMust be a certified START Coordinator within 12 months of employment as team leaderPrior experience as a START Coordinator preferredPreferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above)     Prior experience as a START Coordinator and/or START clinical team leader  Current START Coordinator Certification Compensation:$70,000.00-80,000.00 annually
