The NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing invites applications from doctorally prepared registered nurses for a clinical track (continuing contract) position, at the level of Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor ranks, with start dates of January or September 2025.
Clinical-track faculty are outstanding educators who contribute to the College’s educational and scholarly mission with the vision and experience to advance our global mission. Clinical-track faculty at Meyers expertly teach and develop innovative new pedagogy and programs across our academic programs, develops a portfolio of clinical scholarship, performs service activities at NYU, with the communities we serve, and as leaders within local, national and global professional organizations, and advocates for policy to advance health.
We encourage applications from candidates with expertise and interest in teaching across our undergraduate, master’s and doctor of nursing practice programs.
Priority Areas for this search include expertise in the areas of:
+ Primary care adult-geriatric nurse practitioner
+ Nursing administration and leadership
+ Simulation Education including curricular and pedagogy development
+ Pre-licensure education with ability to teach across multiple content areas

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is:
+ Clinical Assistant: $96,000 - $146,000
+ Clinical Associate: $115,000 - $175,000
+ Clinical Professor: $131,734.00 - $221,734.00
New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
Requirements
+ Earned Doctorate in Nursing or Related Field (PhD or equivalent, DNP or equivalent)
+ Experience serving as a course or simulation instructor in nursing education
+ Current, unrestricted New York State RN License or licensed in another state with ability to obtain a New York State License by start date
Preferred
+ Experience with curriculum or course development
+ Demonstrated evidence of clinical scholarship
+ Experience teaching in both small and large class size didactic courses
