Clinical Training Institute Mgr

Operated by the Management & Training Corporation, the East Texas Treatment Facility in Henderson, Texas, provides a safe working environment and the opportunity to help people looking to turn their lives around.** **What you’ll do:** You’ll directly supervise the training specialist. You’ll be responsible for the development of programmatic training curriculum and cultivating a culture of continuous learning and development at the individual, teams and organizational level by delivering relevant clinical training. Responsible for coordinating and scheduling required training for pre-service training and annual training for all program facilities and maintenance of relevant documentation in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) directives. **Essential Functions:** 1. Plan, coordinate and communicate training for all program sites in compliance with MTC and TDCJ directives. 2. Create, plan and develop systems to monitor the Clinical Training Institute (CTI) requirements and documentation are in compliance according to contract requirements. 3. Review annual training schedules for MTC Programs. 4. Monitor, update and maintain ACADIS database and documentation of all certificates and training records. 5. Deploy TDCJ annual training plan within the region in coordination with Training Director, and other regional directors are required. 6. Facilitate delivery of evidence-based practices, clinical training, including therapeutic interventions, assessment methods, trauma-informed services, and crisis management. 7. Assist with periodic and annual review of pre-service and in-service training programs to measure compliance and effectiveness. 8. Conduct audits of CTI files regularly as required. 9. Ensure all program sites are up-to-date and consistent with processes, training requirements, and other CTI requirements. 10. Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed. Provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills, procedures and intervention techniques. 11. Adhere to safety procedures. It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management. **Education and Experience Requirements:** Bachelor's degree from a college or university. Each year of experience as described below in excess of the required three (3) years may be substituted for thirty (30) semester hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis. Current valid licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHSP), or current valid licensure as Qualified Credentialed Counselor (QCC) licensed to conduct counseling in a treatment environment. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. unless waived by management, **Post Hire Requirements:** Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements and pass an annual background check, both of which must be approved by TDCJ.
