Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a Clinician in Fitchburg, MA.
Responsibilities:
Provides direct clinical treatment to adults as represented in the caseload through: diagnostic evaluations and screenings, crisis/emergency assessment and intervention, treatment planning and assessment, individual, group, couple and family therapyParticipates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.Consults with area doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.Maintains client records and administrative records according to Center policy.Maintains unit productivity standard according to collective bargaining agreement.Attends administrative staff meetings as required.Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required.Perform other related job duties as assigned.If Clinician IV may provide clinical supervision of staff or Utilization Review.Maintain program’s therapeutic milieu through behavior management techniques and monitoring of client safety.Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.Qualifications:
Grade C012: Clinician III: Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Grade C16- Clinician IV: Master's degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist.Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and practices to determine appropriate level of care.Can develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented measurable and appropriate for the identified level of care.Able to effectively implement prior authorization and utilization management process and advocate for optimal client care.Clinical expertise specific to the target population with an ability to engage clients effectively and work with other professionals and organizations.Current valid US issued driver's license and ability to provide a registered, inspected, insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites.All candidates will be subject to a CORI review as outlined in the regulations set by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
