We are looking for per diem candidates.

As a clinician/therapist in the Children and Family Treatment and Supports (CFTS) program at Astor Services, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic support to families in their homes and communities. Your role will include conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support family dynamics and strengthen relationships. You will develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of each family. Additionally, you will engage in case consultations, collaborate with other professionals, and participate in team meetings. This role is a rewarding combination of interactive and administrative tasks. Flexible scheduling allows for non –traditional shift work; giving the clinician the opportunity to balance work/life responsibilities.


Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of familiesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansProvide family therapy sessions using evidence-based practicesUtilize therapeutic techniques to support and strengthen family relationshipsCollaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationParticipate in regular team meetings and supervision sessionsEngage with community resources to support families effectively

Requirements

You must have:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related fieldCurrent licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York state – LMSW (or Limited Permit), LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, LCAT, PsychologistsExperience working with families in a therapeutic settingStrong understanding of family systems and evidence-based therapeutic interventionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills

You should have:

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamProficiency in clinical documentationExcellent time-management and organizational skillsOutgoing personality with the confidence of handle challenging situations and peopleCommitment to ongoing professional development and learning Salary Description 50.00/hour
