Everbridge, a leading global provider of critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is currently seeking an experienced Clinician to join our medical team in in the United Kingdom. This is a remote/home-based position that can be based anywhere in the UK. This is a part time position providing 24/7 medical support on a rota basis, working within a multi-professional clinical team in our International Assistance Centre. The clinician will deliver first-line medical assistance to corporate clients and individuals, ensuring high standards of care from pre-deployment to post-travel phases. This role emphasizes excellence in clinical care, quality assurance, and adherence to best practices, ensuring compliance with international medical and regulatory standards. The clinician will actively contribute to patient safety, telehealth, case management quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do: Provide first-line medical assessment, triage, and assistance via telemedicine and direct coordination. Conduct pre-deployment screenings, travel health assessments, and repatriation planning. Review medical records and treatment plans to ensure appropriate and effective care. Manage complex medical cases, including emergency response coordination and medical evacuations. Collaborate with global healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Accurately document all patient interactions within the Case Management System, ensuring transparency and adherence to governance standards. Escalate cases requiring higher-level intervention according to established escalation protocolsEngage in continuous professional development and medical education initiatives. Participate in team training, case reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance clinical performance. Stay updated with the latest advancements in telehealth, emergency medicine, and assistance healthcare. Support junior clinicians and responders through structured mentorship and clinical case discussions. Work closely with medical coordinators, case managers, and operations teams to optimize patient outcomes. Liaise with insurance providers, healthcare facilities, and corporate clients to coordinate medical interventions. Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clinical transparency and efficiency.Contribute to governance committee discussions and institutional reporting structures.
What you'll bring: Nurse, paramedic, medical or other patient facing degree from a recognized institution. Professional Registration with relevant medical authority (e.g., GMC, Medical Chamber, nursing registry, paramedic HCPC, NAEMT/NREMT or international equivalent). Experience in emergency medicine, occupational health, aerospace, travel medicine, or military medicine preferred. Proficiency in telemedicine/telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and quality assurance principles. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make sound medical decisions. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams.
