The Clinician and Employee Experience Coordinator for the Oregon market is responsible for planning, organizing and executing initiatives that enhance employee engagement satisfaction and overall experience within the organization. This role involves managing projects providing administrative support and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among teams to foster a positive workplace culture. This position also provides onsite high level administrative support to Clinician and executive leaders in the Oregon market. This role involves facilitating communication, organizing meetings, and handling sensitive information while partnering with these medical leaders.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator and other office equipment as needed.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment. Occasional evening work and/or work outside normal business hours. Involves contact with providers, staff and the public. May be required to travel to various sites within Oregon to support Optum Oregon. Work may be stressful at times and may involve dealing with multiple demands and expectations.
Hybrid - 4 days in the office each week.
Primary Responsibilities:
On site coordinating all aspects of clinician and employee events including tracking offerings throughout the year, recommending venue location, coordinating catering, creating invitations and tracking attendees Includes day-of onsite presence to ensure the site is set up for event, attendees are checked-in, coordinate any audio visual or site needs, and ensure end-of-day breakdown/clean-up is taken care of Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings Manage and support on site leadership, staff and clinician events Draft, review and send related communications on behalf of company leadership Proactively reach out to colleagues across the organization to obtain necessary information and materials Address technology requirements virtual meeting links meeting materials etc Answer incoming requests for information build knowledge base to be able to share answers or make the appropriate connections elsewhere Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed provide occasional support to other members of the leadership team Coordinate and run hybrid events with in-person and virtual participants Assists in the preparation, formatting, and creating presentations Collaborate with cross-functional departments, subcommittees, and teams to ensure program effectiveness Ensures relevant standards, processes, and regulations are upheld Monitor and measure the success of programs and events Identify and help facilitate opportunities for continual improvement Liaison with the marketing and communications team to increase program awareness Coordinate calendar, communication, and minutes for committees Coordinate with committee chairs for follow up tasks Other duties as assignedYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of professional experience including managing programs and/or projects 2 + years of experience in an event planning or administrative support role Proficient in software applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload Proven ability to perform a wide range of duties and tasks Proven ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with staff and cliniciansPreferred Qualification:
Solid networking skills within Optum Oregon and the broader enterpriseThe hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
