We are seeking a Clinician Educator to support a community-based primary care residency program at Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC), an Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) partner. The Clinician Educator will support this program, provide exceptional patient care, and further the educational mission. This position is a full-time academic position in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Department of Internal Medicine at OHSU School of Medicine.
Faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and each other. Opportunities for teaching abound and participation is encouraged and valued. The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship, as directed by his or her department.

This position will include continuity ambulatory practice and potentially interim care for the practice. Clinical care duties will be the equivalent of 7 half days per week. Clinical work will include of precepting residents approximately one half day a week. Evening clinic hours will be expected at a 1 day per week.
Serve as a Primary care clinician in the Faculty Practice with OHSU at Hillsboro Internal Medicine Primary Care Clinic (to include continuity care, as well as interim or same day care).Participate in clinical based teaching of OHSU students and in the future Hillsboro Medical Center based Internal Medicine residents, such as resident continuity clinic precepting.Potential for inpatient general medicine clinical work.
