Clinics Market Manager

LAMC is a 47-bed acute care facility that provides medical services to the people of Los Alamos County and surrounding areas. This position reports to the Clinics Market Director and oversees daily operations for the following clinics: Los Alamos Family Care, Los Alamos Women’s Health, Northern NM Cancer Care, Los Alamos Surgical Associates, Los Alamos Orthopedic & Sports Medicine, Los Alamos Urology, Los Alamos Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine. This position directly supervises office managers and leads, develops and maintains policies and procedures, implements goals and objectives, Provides Operational Support to the director of Physician Practices and assists in tasks that the director assignsin a professional, efficient and cost effective manner. They will provide oversight for clinics staffing, works to resolve immediate staffing issues (to include providing coverage by stepping into staffing if necessary), wihile also ensuring appropriate flexing is utilized, and will work closely with Billing Manager to ensure proper billing/collection techniques are in place and followed by clinics. Assists with payroll / kronos timekeeping for staff and physicians, performs inventory management and supply ordering. This position will assist the director in the start up and opening of new clinics: Identifying location, securing supplies and furniture, equipment,and hiring of necessary staff, along with assisting in the start up and opening of new clinics: Identifying location, securing supplies and furniture, equipment, and hiring of necessary staff. Assists Director with LAPP Yearly budget preparation. Assists director with processing check requests, invoices, travel expense requests, in a timely manner for approval and processing. Will serve as the Athena Superuser for all clinics and coordinate training with new staff and providers. This position will assist the director with the hiring of, orientation of, coaching and disciplining of staff, including giving input with evaluations. Requires: Associates/Bachelor's degree or HSD/GED or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities. Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred Requires minimum of 2 years in physician practices or similar healthcare setting, with previous leadership experience. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
