Practice Manager is responsible for directing, and overseeing the daily operations of physician practice. Ensures policies and procedures are appropriate to ensure quality patient care services, patient, employee and physician satisfaction while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Associates or Bachelors Degree in Health Administration preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three years experience in physician practice management at the supervisory level.Knowledge and background in third party payor, billing, paying and processing requirements.Prefer knowledge of medical terminology and clinic experience in a physician office.Experience in electronic billing, scheduling systems as well as coding is preferred.Ability to clearly communicate and apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations.Ability to plan, exercise initiative, problem-solving and decision making.DeKalb Regional Medical Center celebrated its 35th anniversary in October 2021.
