About the Role: As our Cloud Administrator, you'll be at the intersection of cloud infrastructure for Transport and Cybersecurity Services, supporting our mission to safeguard and grow our cloud presence. You will have the unique opportunity to expand your skills across multiple cloud OEMs while working closely with our cyber, cross-domain, and transport teams to learn and implement growth and cutting-edge security measures.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic growth of current and future security cloud architecture.
• Manage the complete AWS lifecycle, emphasizing security, provisioning, and automation.
• Work with TCS architect and SMEs to migrate existing on-premises infrastructure to AWS with precision and security at the forefront.
• Work with TCS architect and SMEs to create multi-tier systems for robust cloud-based solutions.
• Work with TCS architect and SMEs to optimize cloud infrastructure for peak performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure Cloud SMEs conduct routine system patching and updates, ensuring the highest level of security.
• Create, document, and implement robust disaster recovery plans and maintain strict data integrity across all AWS applications and future multi-cloud fabrics.
• Monitor system performance and availability with a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Security Clearance: active TS/SCI.
• 2-5 years of experience working with AWS or other compatible cloud providers.
• Proven expertise in AWS services including but not limited to Route 53, EC2, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices.
• Demonstrable track record managing cloud engineering and administrative staff.
• An understanding of cloud security principles and design.
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, Firewalls, and TCP/IP.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud systems.
• Familiarity with AWS operational best practices and effective use case identification.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
