Overview Dedicated to serving those who defend the US and warfighters, Nisga’a MOSTT offers Military Operations support and Specialized Tactical Training (MOSTT). Nisga’a MOSTT’s services include aviation and military training, cybersecurity, intelligence gathering and analysis, and simulation and exercise support, as well as aviation flight logistics support and unmanned aerial vehicle support. Summary: Goldbelt Nisga’a MOSTT, LLC is looking for a for Cloud Architect to support the Global System Support Engineers (GSSE) under the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Program Executive Office for Special Operations Forces Digital Applications (PEO SDA). The objective of this effort is to provide software-agnostic field support for forward-deployed users of operational, advanced analytic intelligence support, as well as to provide technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems support. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Responsible for designing and implementing cloud computing solutions. Facilitates the development of the right future-state architecture and ensures its effective adoption. Provide overall direction, guidance and definition of architecture programs that effectively support government operations. Responsibilities include advocacy and support of the enterprise's IT strategies, identification, and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive useful business context, analysis of the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement, and the development of strategies aligning IT to business. This includes designing the cloud infrastructure, designing the cloud application architecture, and designing the cloud security architecture. Maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the world 24 x 7 x 365. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure automation tools and frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science with 10-12 Years experience, or Master of Science with 8-10 years experience, or PhD with 5 years experience in a related field is required. DoD IAT Level II certification required. Experience with cloud computing, including the various cloud deployment models, cloud service models, and cloud deployment architecture Previous experience supporting an enterprise IT environment for a DoD COCOM or similar level organization AWS or AZURE or Google cloud certifications - i.e. AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud Engineer or higher required Prior experience supporting cloud migration efforts required. Must be a US citizen. An ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility is required. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications are a plus.
