Cloud Architect
Position Description:

• Strong understanding of Azure environment PaaS, IaaS and experience in working with Hybrid model
• Knowledge in Azure Power Shell scripting for deploying the Resources
• Azure integration aspects for hybrid solutions such as WAN networking, ExpressRoute, VPN, B2B, B2C, Active Directory, etc.
Knowledge of cloud-native and 3rd party tools for management, monitoring security and automation
• Define required Cloud Services (such as Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Vnets, Resource Manager, Azure SQL, Azure Backup, Traffic Manager, Cloud & App Services, Azure Active Directory etc
• Collaborate with application architects and DevOps to modernize infrastructure as a service (IaaS) applications to Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Create solutions that support a DevOps approach for delivery and operations of services
• Ensure that all cloud solutions follow security and compliance controls, including data sovereignty.
• Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities to achieve project objectives; technically guide projects through to completion. Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality.
• Interact with and advise business representatives of the application regarding functional and non-functional requirements
• Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate viability of solutions under consideration
• Identify and implement best practices, tools and standards
• Provide consultative support to the clients for production incidents
• Drive and support system reliability, availability, scale, and performance activities
5+ years of working experience in Redhat Linux, Redhat cluster , satellite , patching, OVM , KVM, RHEV, docker container/ OpenShift
• Experience in deploying; maintaining and supporting Linux Server infrastructures and storage systems in an enterprise environment
• Maintain security and OS patch management for linux based systems
• Responsible for resolving all technical incidents escalated by the L-2 team
• Analyze Change Request; review change requests with the client & stake holders; validate the information and execute - High complexity; Critical & Emergency Changes
• Sound knowledge on SRM, Cluster, DataStore and Disaster Recovery
• Participate in Problem Management review meetings and provide root cause analysis
• Ability to handle and drive Incident Review bridges by identifying potential Problems; recommend solutions to be implemented
• Responsible for SLA compliance
• Should possess work experience on migration/upgradation projects
• Basic knowledge on scripting and automation
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders Good knowledge on ITIL process
• Technical Certification a must Redhat Linux
• Possess ITIL certification
• On call schedule and week end change schedule participation
• Flexible to work on 24/7 rotational shifts
